The "Opening Ribbon Cut Ceremony", gathering top executives of the FPD industry and highly-functional film industry, was held. 24 top executives not only from Japan, but also from Korea, Taiwan and China attended the ceremony as dignitaries. Tokyo Big Sight was covered with excitement of enormous number of visitors. Concrete business discussions and technical consultations were conducted everywhere. Exhibitors exposed brand-new products and held demonstrations of the equipment. Highly-functional film technologies were also exhibited at concurrent shows "FINETECH JAPAN" and "LED/OLED Lighting Technology Expo".
