Additive manufacturing can produce an object of complex shape. Various fine metal powders (e.g., tool steel, maraging steel, Al, Co-Cr, Ti alloy) with high flowability and a narrow size distribution were prepared using gas atomization process. The main focus is on metal powders and laser AM for the engineered products.
ITRI/MCL has developed a series of novel green to red high efficiency and long lifetime phosphorescent OLED dopants for Vacuum thermal evaporation (VTE) and solution processes. We also have developed internal and external light extraction materials for OLED display and lighting applications.
As one of green materials, bio-based polymer shows highly environmentally friendly and biodegradable, and can reduce carbon dioxide emission and carbon footprint. This presentation will focus on using sustainable bio-based resources to develop bio-based epoxy for bis-phenol A (BPA) free coatings.
